Tech companies (highest):
- Grab: RM2,000—2,500 for tech interns
- Google Malaysia: RM3,500+ (extremely limited intake)
- Sea Group / Shopee: RM1,800—2,200
- TikTok Malaysia: RM2,000—2,500

Banking / Finance:
- CIMB Investment Banking: RM1,500—1,800
- Maybank / RHB: RM1,200—1,500

Consulting:
- McKinsey / BCG Malaysia: RM3,000+ (very selective)
- Local consulting firms: RM800—1,200

GLCs:
- PETRONAS: RM1,500—1,800 (engineering)
- TM: RM1,000—1,200

Startups: Highly variable. RM500—1,500 typical range.

If allowance matters most, target tech or top consulting. If brand and experience matter most, that calculation changes.
