The Advisory - Financial Risk Management intern is responsible for assisting in the development and review of risk frameworks and policies. This role involves conducting regulatory assessments and supporting the implementation of risk models in a dynamic consulting environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that include risk analytics, research on regulatory trends, and collaboration with project managers to produce client deliverables. You will work closely with a team of professionals dedicated to enhancing financial risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and reviewing risk frameworks and policies.
- Conduct regulatory assessments to ensure compliance.
- Support the implementation of risk models.
- Perform risk analytics to identify potential issues.
- Conduct research on regulatory trends affecting the industry.
- Collaborate with project managers to produce client deliverables.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for clients.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or SAS.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance.
Understanding of Basel II/III and BNM guidelines.
Pursuing professional certifications like FRM or CFA is advantageous.
