Role Summary
The Audit - Actuarial intern is responsible for supporting actuarial components of external audit engagements for life and general insurers. This role involves collaboration with audit teams and technical analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that include data validation, reviewing methodologies, and preparing audit documentation. You will work closely with audit teams and assist in actuarial modelling to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support data validation processes for audit engagements.
- Review and assess actuarial methodologies used by clients.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit documentation.
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure effective communication.
- Engage in technical analysis to support audit findings.
- Assist in actuarial modelling to meet client needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline.
0–3 years of experience in actuarial or insurance-related roles.
Progress in actuarial exams is preferred.
Strong foundation in Excel and data analysis.
Exposure to actuarial tools (e.g. Prophet, Python, SQL) is an advantage.
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Teamwork and communication skills.
