Role Summary
The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing and developing PLC/HMI programming for automated water treatment systems. This role involves significant interaction with customers and internal teams to ensure effective implementation and resolution of technical issues.
Job Description
In this position, the Automation Engineer will engage in day-to-day programming and system integration tasks while collaborating with various stakeholders. The work environment is dynamic, requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PLC/HMI programming for automated water treatment systems.
- Support fieldwork to upgrade and resolve customer issues.
- Define and execute validation processes for system implementations.
- Generate various technical documents related to projects.
- Implement software solutions and integrate systems effectively.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of water treatment systems.
- Coordinate and supervise onsite installations, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify technical and commercial issues.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Computer Science.
At least 3-4 years of relevant working experience.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
