Role Summary

The Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement process and supplier relationships. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company policies and strategies.

Job Description

In this role, you will engage in day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring that all work aligns with company standards and KPIs. You will collaborate with various teams to manage orders and support procurement strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and KPIs.
  • Place all Purchase Orders for assigned/supplier spend.
  • Obtain order confirmations within agreed timelines.
  • Manage delivery of all orders and expedite accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Support Senior Buyer/s on delivery of Score Group Procurement strategies.
  • Assist Stores team with any delivery queries.
  • Mentor Buyers with less experience within the Team where applicable.
  • Assist Accounts team with resolving invoice queries in a timely manner.
  • Issue and manage requests for quotations to the supply base.

Job Requirements

Relevant experience within a Supply Chain environment.

Sound working knowledge of MS Office package – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Relevant experience with ERP systems.
