As the Global Capability Lead for Data Engineering, you will define the architecture, standards, and operational practices for our Global Azure/Databricks platform. Your role involves building and maturing the data engineering capability, mentoring engineers, and driving scalable data pipelines and API-based data access. You will ensure a future-ready data foundation that supports analytics, AI, and digital products across the enterprise.
You will operate at the intersection of platform, architecture, and delivery, leading efforts to transition from fragmented solutions to a robust, scalable engineering capability. Your leadership will facilitate data-driven decision-making and accelerate insights across the organization while fostering collaboration among Business, IT, and Data & Analytics teams.
Job Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on data engineering
Strong expertise in Data Engineering and scalable data platforms, preferably cloud-based architectures (Azure)
Proven track record in defining and scaling engineering standards, patterns, and best practices across teams
Hands-on experience with Python, Azure Databricks, and modern data tooling
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Demonstrated leadership in developing engineers and building high-performing teams
