Role Summary
The Cash and Remittance role is responsible for contributing to the Technology and Operations function of a leading Asian bank. This position is pivotal in developing financial technology solutions that support the bank's core banking ecosystem, particularly in Local and Bill Payment applications.
Job Description
In this role, you will work in a newly established technology center in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on enhancing financial technology solutions. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the effective delivery of payment and cash management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and enhance applications for Local and Bill Payment systems.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Support payment and cash management solutions.
- Perform RPG and DB2 programming on AS400 systems.
- Maintain existing applications and troubleshoot issues.
- Mentor junior developers to foster their growth and skills.
- Support DevOps processes to streamline development and deployment.
- Prepare technical documentation for applications and processes.
Job Requirements
6 to 9 years of experience in AS400 development with strong expertise in RPG and DB2.
Deep understanding of Local and Bill Payment systems.
Exposure to Cash Management/Rate Provision or GIRO & Instant Payment processes.
Strong skills in code review and quality assurance practices.
Familiarity with DevOps, ALDON, and ARCAD is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
English language proficiency at C1 Advanced level.
