CNC Programmer / Machinist – Weng Seng Engineering Corporation

The CNC Programmer / Machinist is responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC milling programs. This role involves interpreting technical drawings and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient production processes.

In this position, you will work in a dynamic environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount. Your day-to-day tasks will involve setting up CNC milling machines and ensuring product quality through inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC milling programs using G-code and CAM software.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and product specifications.
• Set up CNC milling machines, including tooling, fixtures, and materials.
• Perform first article inspections to ensure product quality meets requirements.
• Adjust machining parameters such as feed rate and cutting speed for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure machines are properly maintained and operated in accordance with SOP and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
