Role Summary
The Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer/Technician is responsible for supervising the installation of electrical equipment and control systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with design specifications and supporting plant operations in a petrochemical environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve overseeing the installation and commissioning of electrical systems while performing routine inspections. You will also prepare project documentation and provide technical support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of electrical equipment and control systems.
- Lead commissioning activities for new projects.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems.
- Manage electrical aspects of ongoing projects.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation.
- Provide technical support to plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Job Requirements
Holds at least a Degree or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
Proven experience in the petrochemical, oleo chemical or oil & gas industry is highly preferred.
Ability to work on a shift basis as required.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and instrumentation.
Willingness to relocate or work in Banting.
