Role Summary

The Equipment Maintenance Technician at Renesas is responsible for maintaining and improving test equipment used in Test Manufacturing. This role involves supporting improvement projects, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and participating in activities to enhance manufacturing performance and equipment effectiveness.

Job Description

The role supports Test Manufacturing in achieving goals related to Test Out, On-Time Delivery (OTD), Quality, Tester Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), 5S, Safety, and Cycle Time performance. Responsibilities include carrying out setup, handler conversion, repair, and maintenance of test equipment used by Test Manufacturing, supporting Maintenance Engineers in improvement projects, providing feedback and analysis on test hardware weaknesses, and participating in 5S activities while ensuring compliance with safety standard operating procedures on the production floor.

Job Requirements

Technical Diploma or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in semiconductor Backend (Final Test), especially with ATE testers and test handlers, is an added advantage.

Able to work ABC 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).

Good attendance, responsible, and willing to learn.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Able to work independently and demonstrate innovation in technical tasks.
