Role Summary
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting Test Manufacturing in achieving operational goals. This role involves hands-on maintenance and improvement of test equipment, contributing to overall production efficiency and safety standards.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in the daily maintenance and repair of test equipment within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will collaborate closely with Maintenance Engineers and participate in various improvement projects to enhance equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setup and handler conversion of test equipment.
- Perform repair and maintenance tasks on test equipment used in manufacturing.
- Support Maintenance Engineers in ongoing improvement projects.
- Provide feedback and analysis on test hardware weaknesses.
- Participate in 5S activities to maintain workplace organization.
- Ensure compliance with safety standard operating procedures on the production floor.
- Monitor and report on equipment performance metrics.
Job Requirements
Technical Diploma or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in semiconductor Backend (Final Test) is an added advantage.
Able to work ABC 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Good attendance, responsible, and willing to learn.
