Role Summary
The Executive - HLISB (Shariah Audit) is responsible for reviewing and assessing the Shariah audit universe. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with Shariah standards and supporting the development of audit policies.
Job Description
In this internship, you will be involved in the daily operations of the Shariah audit team, conducting fieldwork, and collaborating with auditees. You will also have the opportunity to draft audit reports and assist in policy development that aligns with global internal audit standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess the Shariah audit universe.
- Draft annual audit plans based on identified risks.
- Conduct audit fieldwork to evaluate compliance.
- Identify potential Shariah compliance issues during audits.
- Engage with auditees to gather necessary information.
- Draft comprehensive audit reports for management review.
- Provide support to other audit teams as needed.
- Assist in developing policies that comply with global internal audit standards.
Job Requirements
Malaysian Citizen
Degree in Shariah/Economic/Finance/Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in Islamic Banking or Financial Institution (Fresh graduates will be considered)
Certification in Shariah knowledge and Shariah audit qualifications will be an added advantage
Skills in data analysis is an advantage
