Job Description
The Facilities Technician (Junior) is responsible for operating and maintaining Industrial Effluent and Ultra Pure Water (RODI) Treatment Systems. You will ensure a continuous supply of utilities for substrate manufacturing while managing scheduled waste according to environmental regulations. Key tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and conducting routine inspections. You will also monitor system performance per EQR 2009 requirements and resolve wastewater issues on the production floor.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical field preferred).
Fresh Diploma holders are encouraged to apply.
Willingness to work on a shift rotation schedule and overtime as required.
Knowledge of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (IETS) or water treatment.
Certificate from EiMAS (CeSWaM or NIOSH AGTES) is an added advantage.
Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical pumps and motor starter control panels.
Strong interpersonal skills and a result-oriented team player mindset.
Ability to perform duties safely with minimal supervision.
