Role Summary
The Facilities Technician (Junior) is responsible for operating and maintaining Industrial Effluent and Ultra Pure Water (RODI) Treatment Systems. This role ensures a continuous supply of utilities for substrate manufacturing while adhering to environmental regulations.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in day-to-day operations that involve preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. You will work in a dynamic environment focused on maintaining system performance and resolving wastewater issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Industrial Effluent and Ultra Pure Water Treatment Systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections to monitor system performance.
- Manage scheduled waste in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Address wastewater issues on the production floor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical field preferred).
Fresh Diploma holders are encouraged to apply.
Willingness to work on a shift rotation schedule and overtime as required.
Knowledge of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (IETS) or water treatment.
Certificate from EiMAS (CeSWaM or NIOSH AGTES) is an added advantage.
Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical pumps and motor starter control panels.
Strong interpersonal skills and a result-oriented team player mindset.
Ability to perform duties safely with minimal supervision.
