The Financial Accountant, Group Consolidation and Reporting is responsible for supporting the preparation of Group consolidated financial reports. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards while driving process improvements within the finance team.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in the day-to-day preparation and analysis of financial statements, working closely with various entities to ensure timely and accurate reporting. You will be part of a dynamic finance team that values collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly Group consolidated financial statements.
- Plan and implement monthly Group-wide financial close timetable.
- Track accuracy and timeliness of submissions from all entities.
- Perform monthly Group consolidation exercises.
- Lead preparation of Quarterly Reports and presentation materials.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
- Assist in preparing materials for analysts and media briefings.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in financial accounting or reporting.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
