Health, Safety & Environment Executive – NS BlueScope Malaysia Sdn Bhd

The Health, Safety & Environment Executive is responsible for managing and supporting comprehensive HSE planning and governance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with local legal requirements and promoting a strong HSE culture across downstream operations in Borneo.

In this role, you will oversee daily safety operations and ensure that HSE standards are met within the manufacturing environment. You will work closely with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support comprehensive HSE planning and program rollout across downstream operations.
• Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and HSE governance.
• Deliver HSE consultancy and coaching to Line Operations and Management.
• Promote HSE culture within the organization.
• Coordinate and develop the annual HSE plan with set objectives and targets.
• Facilitate and monitor the implementation of the HSE Management System.
• Conduct daily safety line walks to identify and rectify hazards.
• Investigate safety incidents promptly and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
