Job Description

The role involves maintaining accurate records of inventory items, including quantity, price, and location. The person will manage inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and reduce discrepancies, conduct regular audits and cycle counts, and investigate inventory variances. The role also includes managing the process of receiving and outgoing shipments, possibly participating in warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, and shipping inventory. Additionally, the role requires analyzing historical data and trends for demand forecasting and optimizing inventory levels and storage. Generating reports on inventory metrics and performing other duties as required by the Head of Department are also part of the responsibilities.

Job Requirements

Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business administration, Operations Management, or in a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse management, supply chain management, purchasing, logistics is required.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse staff, and other stakeholders.

Ability to identify and resolve inventory related issues.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.

Proficiency with computing systems e.g SQL Accounting Software and ERP system is preferred.

Understanding of the entire supply chain process.
