The Junior Designer is responsible for assisting in space planning, concept development, and design proposals. This role involves collaborating with project teams and clients to ensure design intent is met while providing technical support and creative input.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in daily tasks that include preparing CAD drawings, layouts, and lighting plans, while supporting project teams with presentation boards and material selections. You will also coordinate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in space planning and concept development.
- Prepare CAD drawings and layouts for design proposals.
- Support project teams with presentation boards and material selections.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design intent is met.
- Conduct site visits, measurements, and progress inspections.
- Provide design input and technical support to project teams.
- Understand on-site conditions and ensure measurement accuracy.
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or 3D software.
Responsible, self-motivated, creative, and willing to learn.
Good sense of design, space, and lighting coordination.
Good written and spoken English; proficiency in Cantonese or Malay is a plus.
