L3 Technical Support Engineer – Luxoft Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

This role is for a senior L3 Technical Support Engineer specializing in Hadoop, focusing on the design, development, and enhancement of AML applications within a major bank's technology center in Kuala Lumpur. The position involves working with big data technologies, Unix/Linux scripting, application deployment, and collaborating with business and compliance teams to support AML monitoring and reporting systems.

This role involves working as a consultant on a project for a leading bank in Asia with a global presence. The position is based in a newly established technology center in Kuala Lumpur and is part of the Technology and Operations function, which supports physical and digital banking services through technology development and standardization across Malaysia and overseas branches. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and enhancing AML applications using Tookitaki and the Hadoop ecosystem; working on big data solutions such as HDFS and Hive for AML monitoring and reporting; developing and maintaining Unix Shell Scripts for automation and data processing; supporting application deployment and middleware configurations; writing and optimizing SQL queries; collaborating with business and compliance teams; troubleshooting L3 issues; participating in code reviews and testing; providing production support; and maintaining technical documentation for AML systems.
