Role Summary
The Language Specialist - Indirect Tax is responsible for preparing VAT, WHT, and other indirect tax reports for multinational clients. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax obligations while identifying automation opportunities and assisting in client transitions.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in daily tasks that involve preparing and analyzing indirect tax reports, working closely with clients to meet their tax compliance needs. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your skills in indirect tax compliance tools and automation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare VAT, WHT, and other indirect tax reports for multinational clients.
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations and regulations.
- Respond to client requests and inquiries regarding indirect tax matters.
- Identify opportunities for automation in tax reporting processes.
- Assist in transitioning new clients to KPMG's services.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance indirect tax compliance tools.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of indirect tax regulations and practices.
Job Requirements
BSc or MSc in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Fresh graduates with language competency are welcome.
Strong written and spoken English.
Additional language skills in Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, or Filipino.
Advanced Excel knowledge, especially Pivot tables.
Effective communication and analytical skills.
Team player with a proactive personality.
