Job Description
The Lecturer will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, guiding students through course materials and preparing them for assessments in a dynamic academic environment. The role also includes developing course materials and participating in departmental meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned courses in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
- Guide students through course materials and prepare them for examinations.
- Set and mark assessments to evaluate student performance.
- Provide academic counseling and support to students.
- Develop and update course materials to enhance learning outcomes.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to academic discussions.
- Conduct research in collaboration with the Head of Department.
- Participate in exhibitions and academic events as needed.
Job Requirements
A PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Computing.
At least 3 years of working experience as an academic.
Experience as a programme leader and supervision at Master's and PhD level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and update course materials.
Experience in conducting research and publishing academic papers.
