Job Description
This role involves machinery and equipment maintenance in a seafood processing environment, including routine inspections, servicing, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and responding to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Key responsibilities include performing routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of production machinery and equipment, as well as ensuring all machinery and equipment are in safe working condition.
Job Requirements
Minimum SPM, SKM, or equivalent qualification
Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field is an advantage
Preferably 2–3 years of experience in factory or industrial maintenance
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, machinery troubleshooting, and repairs
Able to use basic maintenance tools and equipment safely
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and factory equipment is an advantage
Able to work in a wet, cold, or humid seafood processing environment
Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance work
Willing to work overtime, weekends, or respond to urgent breakdowns when required
Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
