
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth through strategic sourcing and partner engagement. This role requires strong leadership in managing relationships and executing deals, while ensuring effective management of partnerships from inception to launch.
The Business Development Manager drives growth through strategic product sourcing, partner engagement, and evaluation of new business opportunities. The role involves leading cross-functional coordination to align on product strategy, managing relationships with key external partners, and driving negotiations and deal execution. Key responsibilities include overseeing market research and pipeline development, assessing and prioritizing new opportunities, and ensuring effective end-to-end management of partnerships from identification through to product launch.
Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field, with an MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, with proven track record in in-licensing, negotiations, and deal execution.
Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and sound commercial judgment.
Effective collaborator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
