Role Summary
The Manager, Contract Management is responsible for overseeing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects throughout their lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance and managing disputes while balancing contractual and commercial needs.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day management of contracts, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with project goals and legal requirements. You will work closely with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from pre-tender to post-contract stages.
- Draft and review essential contract documents to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Manage contract compliance and monitor adherence to contractual obligations.
- Provide support in dispute resolution and facilitate negotiations as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams to align contractual considerations with commercial requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of contract performance and compliance.
- Liaise with legal advisors to ensure all contracts meet relevant laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
A bachelor's degree in engineering, quantity surveying, or construction management.
A minimum of 15 years' experience in building and infrastructural/civil engineering works.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and contract administration principles.
Exceptional command of English for drafting contractual letters.
Willingness to travel as required.
