Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer – MaQtra International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd

The Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and coordinating HVAC systems for building services projects. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical specifications.

In this role, you will engage in the daily tasks of reviewing specifications, preparing tender submissions, and conducting site visits. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires both independent and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and plan Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) or Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Review and interpret mechanical and electrical specifications and drawings.
• Prepare tender submissions and documentation.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements.
• Manage procurement and evaluation of equipment and subcontractor work.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry standards.
