The Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems within the facility. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues with air-conditioning, electrical wiring, lighting, generators, and plumbing. Regular inspections are conducted to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, while preventive maintenance is carried out to minimize breakdowns. The technician must ensure compliance with safety standards and respond promptly to emergencies, coordinating with contractors and suppliers as needed.
Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant working experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and mechanical equipment such as HVAC and plumbing systems.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment effectively.
Good understanding of safety practices and compliance standards.
Physically fit and able to carry out hands-on technical work.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or respond to emergency calls when required.
