Medical Lab Technologist – Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh

The Medical Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing specimen collection and ensuring accurate patient identification. The role involves managing laboratory information and adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures in accordance with standard protocols. Ensure proper patient identification prior to specimen collection. Receive, label, and verify specimens in the Laboratory Information System (LIS). Ensure all specimens are correctly labelled. Accurately register patient and test information into the system. Comply with hospital policies, laboratory SOPs, and accreditation standards.
