Role Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production line and ensuring efficient operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and safety regulations within a leading agribusiness group in the Asia Pacific Region.
Job Description
In this role, the Production Supervisor will monitor daily production line performance and manage process control parameters. The position requires effective task assignment to workers while ensuring adherence to safety measures and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report daily production line performance.
- Oversee process control parameters to ensure quality.
- Assign tasks to workers based on production needs.
- Ensure adherence to process flows and safety regulations.
- Manage machinery breakdowns and perform minor maintenance.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in the production area.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to workers.
Job Requirements
SPM/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Degree holder will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a chemical plant.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong supervisory skills and a good team player.
Good self-discipline and working attitude with high adaptability to changes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
