Regional Tax Manager-Bangsar South at Lazada Express Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur

The Regional Tax Manager is responsible for managing and supporting tax compliance for international business operations. This role involves working closely with the regional tax team to identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate tax risks while ensuring compliance with local legislation.

In this role, you will engage in day-to-day tax compliance activities, collaborating with various stakeholders to address tax and transfer pricing matters. You will also assist in preparing and filing tax returns and reports, while monitoring regulatory changes that may impact the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support tax compliance for corporate income tax and indirect taxes.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate tax risks.
• Document tax positions thoroughly in consultation with stakeholders.
• Prepare and file tax returns and reports in compliance with local legislation.
• Monitor tax regulatory changes and their implications.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external tax stakeholders.
• Contribute to financial system and process improvements.
