Role Summary
The Risk Consulting - Actuarial (Life Insurance), Experienced Associate is responsible for providing actuarial services within the life actuarial team. This role involves working in a professional services organization focused on the financial services marketplace, collaborating with global teams to deliver comprehensive consulting and risk management solutions.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in day-to-day actuarial tasks such as reserving, pricing, and financial reporting while working in a dynamic, project-based environment. You will also contribute to advanced services including risk management and economic capital assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide traditional actuarial services such as reserving and pricing.
- Support mergers and acquisitions with actuarial insights.
- Conduct financial reporting and risk management analyses.
- Develop financial models to assess various scenarios.
- Evaluate life insurance and family takaful liabilities.
- Implement IFRS17 standards in reporting processes.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to foster a positive learning culture.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in the life/family takaful actuarial team or an actuarial consulting firm.
Actively pursuing actuarial qualifications with recognized institutions.
Depth of experience in financial and regulatory reporting.
Strong understanding of valuation of life insurance liabilities.
Experience in financial modelling and IFRS17 implementation.
Proven ability to work in a project-based, team-oriented environment.
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
