This role is a Senior Executive in Procurement responsible for managing the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services according to company policies. The position involves developing sourcing strategies, managing contracts, overseeing purchase processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
Job Description
This role is responsible for managing an efficient and effective procurement operation for materials, supplies, equipment, and services based on procurement policies and procedures aligned with the company's objectives. The position involves developing sourcing strategies, managing contracts, overseeing requisition and purchase order processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Job Requirements
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Banking or equivalent.
5+ years of working experience in Procurement function.
Preferably Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Good negotiation and analytic skills, proactive and willing to learn.
Basic understanding on S2P (sourcing to payment).
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and ERP software.
The ability to be detail oriented but can visualize the larger impact of a series of transactions.
Process-oriented with an understanding of both financial and operational controls.
Comfortable working with manual and automated processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Action orientated to deliver results effectively.
Service oriented attitude and able to adapt to changes quickly.
Adherence to laws and best practices in regard to dealing with vendors and data.
