
The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support in the semiconductor industry. This role involves machine installation, troubleshooting, and building long-term customer relationships both locally and internationally.
The Service Engineer role involves day-to-day technical support activities at customer sites, including machine installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. The engineer will work closely with various teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical) or equivalent is required.
Hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken, is required.
Ability to communicate in Japanese is an added advantage.
Candidate must have own transport and be willing to travel when needed.
Candidate must be mature, independent, and able to manage tasks responsibly.
Candidate must be a trustworthy team player with high integrity and professionalism.
