Job Description
The Service Engineer role in the semiconductor industry involves providing technical support for machine installation, setup, upgrades, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer sites both locally and overseas. The engineer will prepare detailed service reports, communicate job progress to management and teams, respond to customer requests, work closely with HQ and Sales teams, conduct customer training, and build long-term customer relationships.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical) or equivalent is required.
Hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken, is required.
Ability to communicate in Japanese is an added advantage.
Candidate must have own transport and be willing to travel when needed.
Candidate must be mature, independent, and able to manage tasks responsibly.
Candidate must be a trustworthy team player with high integrity and professionalism.
The position is based in the KL office.
