Job Description
Emerson T&M is seeking an experienced Software Manager to lead our R&D Driver Software Team in Penang. This role involves managing a team of 6-10 engineers in the development of NI drivers and software products, ensuring that all business deliverables are met, and collaborating with various departments to drive customer success. The manager will also be responsible for mentoring team members and managing projects from conception to delivery.
Job Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in electronics engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
5-7 years of experience as a software engineer, plus 1-2 years of experience managing a team.
Proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented Programming.
Experience with programming for hardware & systems.
Knowledge of computer software and hardware architecture.
Familiarity with Agile and waterfall project management tools.
Experience in Windows & Linux driver development is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership.
Proven ability to collaborate across departments.
