The Supply Chain Analyst at Flex, located in Prai, Penang, engages in day-to-day activities that involve analyzing data trends and supporting decision-making processes. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with various teams to drive sourcing and pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sourcing and pricing strategies for key accounts.
- Present material value-adds to customers or suppliers.
- Manage component costs regionally and globally.
- Develop supply assurance plans to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate sourcing strategies with suppliers.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms.
- Manage supplier relationships to enhance collaboration.
- Track financial performance and report on metrics.
Job Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain design/management.
Must have an understanding of cost accounting and electronic component markets.
A background in electronics manufacturing is preferred.
Thorough understanding of the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) product development process is essential.
