Role Summary
The Technician 3, Process is responsible for performing various tests and ensuring timely test results. This role plays a critical part in maintaining measurement stability and supporting production processes in a manufacturing environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in daily testing activities, including DET Guzik and QMT, while ensuring accurate data uploads to Online SPC. You will also manage head changes, troubleshoot issues, and assist in data package compilation for new product introductions and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various tests such as DET Guzik and QMT.
- Ensure timely test results and data uploads to Online SPC.
- Maintain stable measurement results and manage head changes.
- Support tester buyoff and troubleshoot issues.
- Assist in data package compilation for NPI, SMO, and Time Slice.
- Communicate shift information clearly and support reference and head issuance.
- Manage inventory and screening activities.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
1-2 years working experience in a manufacturing environment with machine operation.
Experience with sputter metrology tools and knowledge of magnetic materials used in HDD is an advantage.
Understanding of failure mechanisms and ability to isolate process changes.
Proficient in MS Windows Software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
