Job Description
The Video Editor (Mandarin & English Proficient) is responsible for editing and producing short-form videos for platforms including Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, and Bilibili. This role involves delivering high-quality video content aligned with brand standards to enhance the company's professional image and staying current with platform trends to creatively leverage viral topics for increased engagement. The editor also independently produces basic 3D visuals such as title animations and motion graphics, contributes to the visual identity of IP-related content, and collaborates with social media and design teams to ensure consistent branding.
Job Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in short-form video editing with a preferred portfolio on Douyin, Bilibili, or Xiaohongshu.
Proficient in Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro; familiarity with 3D tools such as Blender or C4D is a plus.
Proficient in using AI tools such as Runway ML, Descript, Pika, Synthesia, and CapCut AI for speech generation, captioning, and background removal.
Strong sense of pacing, visual composition, and camera storytelling for short-form content.
High awareness of internet culture and trends, with the ability to integrate them creatively into videos.
Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.
Strong visual aesthetics, storytelling rhythm, and creative problem-solving mindset.
Good command of English and Mandarin with strong communication skills; able to work closely with marketing and cross-regional teams.
