Excellent compensation, generous PTO and good benefits
Biased culture, promoted young men mostly. Barely any women at the company except in gendered roles. I was there for 2 years and went through 2 cycles of layoffs. So not the most stable, but it is tech.
Product is nice and present in many cities Good benefits Hybrid set up
- Direction changes all the time as nothing feels consistent or thought through. - Sales practices are chaotic and reactive instead of strategic. Seems it’s more to impress managing up to CEO and lack of leading downwards. - Executive leadership feels completely disconnected from what’s actually happening day-to-day with the team. He’s not approachable at all so many people going to peers for answers - Communication is really poor: Slack messages to full team are hard to read and understand and there’s little to no transparency - Most of us don’t have a clear sense of what’s going on, and buy-in to the top sales leadership being in Athens is very low.
- Remote - Flexible hours
- You will get fired
Flexible hours Great benefits with free stays at Blueground homes Friendly environment
No indication of salary raises when asking Salary was under position market average for a period
Blueground is a great place to work if you want to be part of a fast-growing company. The teams are helpful, the atmosphere is positive, and there’s room to learn and take on new challenges. The flexible work setup is a big plus, and leadership is generally open and communicative.
Like any fast-growing company, things can move quickly and processes are constantly evolving, which may feel overwhelming at times—but it’s also part of the excitement and learning curve.
Work from home Yearly bonus
Disorganised Unhelpful General lack of care for employees Big work load
I’ve been at Blueground for 5+ years and can confidently say it’s one of the best companies I’ve worked for. - The company has built a profitable, sustainable business model — something rare in today’s tech-driven housing space. - Blueground is the clear industry leader in mid- to long-term rentals, and it’s exciting to be part of a company that’s redefining the category. - Leadership is transparent and committed to growth while staying efficient and focused.
As with any fast-paced, scaling company, priorities can shift quickly — but the direction remains clear and well-communicated.
Global Exposure: Blueground operates in over multiple cities worldwide, offering employees the chance to engage with diverse markets and cultures. Flexible Work Environment: The company promotes a hybrid work model, allowing for remote work and flexible schedules, which supports work-life balance. Supportive Team Dynamics: Colleagues are collaborative and supportive, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace atmosphere.
As with many fast-growing companies, some internal processes are still evolving, which can occasionally lead to ambiguities in roles and responsibilities.
You can work fairly independently as long as you do the tasks assigned
Things can be switched quickly and you are expected to adapt
