Company is very willing to listen to your ideas and very supportive of helping you grow your career and knowledge. Likes to do things the correct way and is a company genuinely passionate about tech.

The hierarchy is very flat. 2) The CEO and CTO are extremely friendly and nice and they are very good in their craft. 3) The work environment is very chill, everyone has each other's backs. 4) You learn a lot, you get exposed to the best practices in terms of development and you get to experiment with new tech. 5) The parking is free. 6) You are provided a work laptop. 7) Flexible working hours and optional mondays. 8) Bosses go out of their way NOT to disturb you after working hours and on weekends unless there's something urgent. 9) If you do work overtime and on weekends, the bosses go out of their way to express their appreciation (Buy you dinner, etc) 10 ) They listen to your concerns.

Pros

Working here has been a valuable experience for my personal and professional development. I have gained extensive knowledge and skills in web and mobile development workflows, contributing significantly to my technical expertise. The positive work environment has fostered a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, enhancing my overall work experience. Additionally, the option for an optional working day on Mondays, if there's no work, provides a good work-life balance.

Cons

However, there are some challenges in working here. Projects often require a high level of independence, especially when working with new tech stacks, which can be demanding. Additionally, there are instances where working extra hours is necessary to meet project deadlines, which can affect work-life balance.

Pros

Working here has been great, in terms of gaining experience, especially for fresh grads. Management has always been supportive, giving guidance and supporting materials (online courses etc.) if we can't catch up. Work life balance has always been an emphasis in the company, we work on flexi hours, hardly any OTs, and have what we call 'optional Mondays' which stems from an old policy of taking a random day off every few months for mental health without deducting any leave. As the name implies, we can take Mondays off IF we are in no rush of deadlines without deducting any leave. If you're concerned about if we ever get to take it, I have been consistently taking at least 1 - 2 mondays off every month. The company is a startup, so we do not have many employees, but we have employees of different races, mostly dudes, but we have had female employees in the past who have left. Everyone is treated equally from everyone as far as I'm concerned and the management has been very friendly and open. Working here has also been very eye opening, since we are given lots of opportunities to try and do different things (sometimes due to lack of manpower, so you have to do it yourself) but mostly for improving ourselves and expand our stack.

Cons

If you don't already know, working in a startup requires you to wear many hats since we are always looking for more manpower. If the timeline or the schedule of a project is not properly defined, or if the project is not managed efficiently, the timeline will be tight, and you will feel it. One other thing you might be concerned about is the salary, I would say we are slightly below average in terms of salary, since this is a startup and most of our employees are in their first or second job. As one of my friends said:"No one joins a startup to earn big bucks, they join to get things done". This is true in this company, if you compare the salaries, I don't think we are being paid that well, but one thing I can say for sure is we have good working culture, good management, and also good career opportunities/progression.

Pros

1. Management is super friendly. They will listen to you and your ideas. They will help you even if they don't know about those things. 2. They will fix the problem with you instead of blaming you for making a mistake. 3. Respond to any request (department improvement etc) is positive. 4. Culture is very chill. 5. The team will work together and will not let anyone be left behind. 6. Hierarchy is very flat. Worked there long enough to call the CEO & CTO friends instead of bosses. XD 7. Code review is very strict to make sure the team uses the best practices.

Cons

1. Food around there is expensive but the team will usually carpool to go for cheaper options. 2. Startup is mostly a place to get things done and slowly build up therefore never expect it will be strictly structured.
