Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad (formerly known as Shell Refining Company) was incorporated in 1960 and listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1962. Its refining operations began in 1963, and today it produces up to 120,000 barrels per day, making it the third largest refinery in Malaysia.
