Pros

The good thing about this place is the location, as its right next to an MRT station. My team was also really amazing

Cons

The Management. so I was working for their sub company Jobslah (Job Portal) Management was poor in decision making, they had no end goal or at least direction as to where they wanted to be once they reached a certain timeframe. They then complained the project wasn’t doing well but its also on them for not knowing what they wanted, and their poor marketing campaign execution which led to the immediate shutdown of the project. Project shut down is one, they then offered me another role, which is different from what i was currently doing, mind you this role is 3 times the job for what i signed for, but they wanted to remain my salary, which to me is pathetic. oh and they lie to you about career growth, theres barely any growth there, so you better reconsider if youre planning on joining.

Pros

only colleagues are good and the pantry aunties

Cons

everything else. management is so poorly organised and if you are not friends with them then good luck to climbing the ladder (not worth it at all) DO NOT believe the 5* reviews here, all are lies and came from the company to make them look better. if i could, i would rate this 0 stars. HR also will never be on your side, so don't need to be friends with them. they are and will always be on the management's side. Leave policy is atrocious and the work culture is so traditional. also need to clock in and out of the office otherwise will deduct salary? Nonsense! Also heard from colleagues that they used to work on saturdays once a month, horrible! from what I can see, after a while, people realised they got "scammed" because your JD does not match with what management wants you to do. only a few team leads are decent and actually know their jobs but the ones in "I" according to colleagues who call with them on a daily basis, it is so hard to settle on things because of favourtism. they also say they will "deliver" work but that never happens, and even if they do, the work quality is horrible and they will push the blame to someone else. if for some reason, you get on management's bad side, good luck to you. they will treat you like you are invisible and do not acknowledge your efforts. also its all so political once you work there longer, you will hear a lot of rumours and "bad things" the managers/company has done in the past. whether or not they are true is a mystery but there has to be some truth to it if a lot of people know about it correct?

Pros

Decent office location in the heart of KL

Cons

In the Business Development department here, there are 2 team leads. L & V. Trust me, no matter who you get as your leader, you will be doomed. (1) V is guy who has 0 leadership skill, its basically like being taught by a little boy on how to do sales. He is good at making his own sales but super bad when teaching his own team on how to do it. (2) Lets not forget, the micromanaging. You will basically be controlled and asked on your current location, even though you are sitting in the office every damn day. (3) Nonsense monthly appraisal. Instead of talking about legit working points during the appraisal, he will ask you regarding unreasonable stuffs and gossips about yourself. You will practically lose about 30 minutes for that conversation. Also, that nonsense gossip points... yeah, it will be put into your official appraisal as well. (4) No sense of trust with his own team member. He will always be questioning the dumbest things that will make me questioned back my own sanity. Okay, now lets get to the juicy part. L is another team lead there, who is more senior in terms of age and working term with this company. I am trying to come up with a good thing for him, but sadly, I couldn't. (1) He is a yes-man to the Chairman, in hoping that one day, he will becoming the company Country Manager, but everyone knows, that he is not capable and not qualified to hold that position. (2) This is the guy that have a huge amount of Debtor list, to the point that it is unrealistic anymore. Talking about sales aficionado... more like a mess after a sales tornado. (3) Micromanage. His situation here is as bad as V. (4) Bragging about his achievement and kept on saying that he is one of the best salesperson there, especially about his MarryBrown deal. Little did he know that, WE (most of the BDMs there), knows that MarryBrown is just an old client of his, since 2020. (5) Manually-raised PI. His invoice to-date is super low, but his PI is unreasonably high. So, need me to say more...? (6) Favoritism. Will always back up his favorite BDMs in his team, especially due to skin color & race. (7) Made a racist comment once, during the Wednesday Sales Meeting where he mentioned the statement "because Chinese is educated" when our Chairman asked why do Chinese clients asked for a different training session in Mandarin language. Logically thinking, how is that educated? Malay & Indian clients have never asked for any training session in their language because they can understand English perfectly. And yet, your race is the educated one??? Make it make sense please. (8) Broken english. This point is pretty petty but I do expect a Team Leader to possessed an excellent English skills, in both written and verbal method. (9) Bad time management. Forget about asking this guy for any help, he will not have time to entertain your questions and needs, even though you urgently need guidance to handle a client at that moment. Sometimes it made me wonder, does he do that on purpose so that I couldn't close that particular sale? Especially when it comes to big clients. Last and also the most crucial point, both team leads, L & V hates it when all of the BDMs under their teams directly consult the Chairman for any advice or special price. Apparently, the team leads have a huge egos when their teams didn't consult them first. But in our defense, the chairman himself did specifically mentioned MANY times during the sales meeting TO CONSULT HIM at any times as he is the only person who can give special price and great advice. So tell me, why in the world do I need to consult the TL first when I can just simply skip that step and go directly to the chairman (who offers the solution to my problem in about 2 swift minutes only).

Pros

Nothing except work life balance

Cons

Whenever customers complain about lack of system features and functionality, instead of trying to improve the system for betterment, the management will find a scapegoat to be blamed at (you). Extremely defensive when it comes to customer complaints. If customers wants the system to fly, it needs to fly up to the sky for them. Otherwise you will be blamed for it. The management has nothing else to do other than monitoring you via CCTV 24/7. Basically you have to pretend you are busy all the time to show your productivity. If there’s one thing about regretting your whole life, that’s joining this pathetic staff blaming company.
