Pros

1. Like other comments, good colleagues because willing to help each other and people are quite friendly. 2. Good for first timer into digital ads because seniors are willing to teach and easily able to learn from other departments because small company. 3. Young work-force so fresh grads will not feel too intimidated with seniors. Juniors to higher ups bigger age gap. 4. A lot of benches and bean bags to rest and chill 5. Don't need formal wear and can wear casual to office (but sometimes HR is like primary school teacher very clearly use their eyes to see our lenght of skirt even when it's knee level so creepy)

Cons

1. Management only cares for sales team and neglects other departments. Eg: Actively hires sales staff and hardly any support staff then wonders why isn't there enough hands to handle new and existing clients. 2. Management consists of people who have no prior digital agency background and people great with soft skills but lack in hard skills required in a digital agency's leadership. Those that do have expeirence are the long time employees oblivious to current market scenario and changes in anything digital. A few of us looked at other agency directors and their linkedin profile to see their past job experiences to compare and how "current" they are. 3. Arrogant and complacent HR (most likely from management also) forcing employees to work in office during covid-19 when Malaysia's daily covid-19 cases were some of the highest when the job can be done online. Is this a digital agency? HR also offered interns full time position but with small increments from intern salary only. 4. Hard to grow professionally career because seniors tend to be busy with own work and meetings. This is true for other departments too when talking to other juniors also and comparing with friends in other companies. Lack in training as we don't get to go to many google and facebook trainings like other companies. Sales managers also provide limited training and only train when mistakes are made. 5. Hard to find cheap food around because there's hardly anything to eat and have to call grab food or grab car to restaurants. Do this everyday can add up a lot monthly. 6. A lot of unclear and changes in policies.

Pros

A great place for beginner to gain experience. There are some team bondings here and there, good snack counters and standard benefits that a company would.

Cons

You are expect to be really pro-active to do your own learning. Don’t expect to be spoon-fed, there is hardly anyone around with the technical depth or patience to actually mentor you. You will be shown the general flow and then expected to soar (or crash) on your own. Make one mistake. just one, and suddenly everything else you did right disappears like it never happened. Recognition? I think there is critic more than recognition. It’s a great place to build resilience and sharpen your skills if you can survive the grind. Just don’t expect a clear career path beyond the executive level. And while you will often hear there is trust and no favouritism, let’s just say… actions speak louder than policies.
