Lumos is a mission-driven company founded in the dorm rooms at Harvard. What We Do
Lumos develops the world's first smart bicycle helmet featuring integrated lights, brake signals, and turn signals. Since its launch on Kickstarter in 2015, Lumos has raised significant funding, including over $2.9 million in its most recent campaign. The helmet has received media coverage from Forbes, Fast Company, BBC, and CNN. It has been honored as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things, listed in TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2018, and praised by Slate Magazine for its utility to bike commuters. Lumos also holds records on Kickstarter for the most funded and most backed project in the bicycle accessories category.
