Leadership is abysmal. Italy controls things and the local president is a puppet for Italy. At one point they were almost 2 years late on paying bonuses. Women are treated MUCH differently than men. This isn't just anecdotal. If you come from Italy you are treated very differently, like you have skills that Americans don't have; which is unfair to local colleagues. Witnessed racism first-hand several times by someone in leadership and complained. Nothing was done because they had sales coming in. They have no loyalty to the people that are loyal to them. Watch your backs. More concerned about the perception of the company than making any changes that would positively affect their employees. They greatly underpay. They will spend more money on lawyers for not doing the right thing than they do on promoting or growing the right employees. 4 things to be "successful" there: 1. Never go against their underperforming norm. Stay status quo 2. Be a yes-man 3. Be Italian 4. Be an underperforming Italian

Small company to work for

No recognition for the hard work

No one listens to you because they hire Employees on third party payroll. and they exploit employees like hell

High work pressure, no middle management, high attrition

The organizational hierarchy and some of the process are not very systematized

Some people must be open to changes that always is coming

People are overworked sometimes, but that happens at a lot of companies.

Low salary for technical engineer

-Horrible management -Company is runned by the Maccaferri family (they do not respond to anyone, therefore sometimes they do some very questionable actions) -Graduate programme (which they advert it lasts for 2 years) consists of 4 months of power point presentations, and after that run around trying to get some work (difficult thing to do if you do not speak Italian. The employers don't really like speaking English)

Work load, hectic, more work, no work life balance

A company past its prime and failing year after year. A revolving door with management. Leadership has no idea how to manage people and help them succeed. Some very lazy employees who spend more time worrying about lunch than working as a team. There is absolutely no moving up with this company.

Latest management has micromanaged the employees to the point many of the best employees have left.

They tend to be a follower in the market, not a leader.

With new management and a fresh generation of employees, the company is working through many of its past operational challenges. As always, adjustment can be slow and difficult at times, however the company is consistently striving towards better things.

It is not very well organized.

Slow and bureaucratic process with mediocre employees managing to scale through the system while the more energetic ones get frustrated. Lack of a clear payscale with possibility to earn higher than more experienced staff. No clear career path and could lead to frustration with constantly changing requests.

Worked with mostly women who acted liked they were still in high school

Too managed by the Family, not a real up-to-date organization and way of thinking. Maybe in the next coming years, strategy and execution could change. New CEO just appointed in March 2018 but it'll take time to understand and (maybe) change.

Too old culture no career path

From management to long-term employees were angry and hostile towards anyone that did not fit into their circle.

The corporate culture was difficult to tolerate. The company was founded in Italy and the head of American operations was Italian. There were some fundamental differences in how they thought a division staffed mostly by Americans should be run and how the Americans thought they should be managed. The upper management positions were mostly devoid of Americans and a lot of corporate communication had to be retranslated from Italian-English to English. There were almost no opportunities to lower my pretax burden (no 401K, no flexible spending for medical coverage, etc.) and the pension plan was a joke. The overall benefits package was mediocre at best, with really bad service from the main insurance company. I received much less support in learning my job from my direct supervisor than I ever would have expected. The surrounding community turned out to be kind of a disappointment as well. It's an area that has seen a lot of good jobs disappear in recent years and has really suffered as a result. Not a great place to move your family, for sure.
