matrix org needs more efforts on internal communication
Managing consultant
colaborative culture, benefits, health insurance
work hours, 3 times week at the office
Director
Very dynamic and innovative company, not so much bureaucracy for a global corporation. Compensation is more or less good, but it depends on the location. Lots of opportunities for growth and relocation. Strong brand in your CV and good networking
If you are engaged as a contractor you have much less rights and privileges than an employee
Consultant
Culture is good , so can work while having time to yourself. Strong L&D program, this can help you upskill Lots of growth opportunities and internal movement
Work may become repetitive and less of a challenge.
Software engineer in test - ii
Work comes and goes but the policies are very supportive for employees and management seem engaged.
Work varies significantly depending on which team you work on.
Senior software engineer
work-life balance if you are not interested in working kind of person
politics sometimes creates a hostile kind of situation
Sr. engineer
Work life balance Good salary hikes Good company culture No politics entertained Appreciated for good work Good bonus
Evening calls with team working from other locations of the world are overwhelming sometime
Senior data scientist
you will have Good WLB here
salary is lower than other tech companies
Finance business partner
The company has very good working culture, in part because of the high number of foreigners in leadership roles so hierarchy is relatively flat
Work life balance comes at a cost at times due to the high work load and working with employees across different time zones
Senior technical program manager
Meeting free days - once per quarter Friday afternoon flex
Roles and responsibilities - not clearly defined. Program Managers are expected to perform Scrum Master responsabilidades ( set up the scrum meetings) not really Program Manager responsibilities. The same applies to Technical Product Manager. They are Business / Systems Analyst. Not sure why the role if the responsibilities are different. Very confusing and frustrating. Lack of trust - Untrained managers creating a gossip environment and not enable team members to trust each other. No support from managers regarding to training for career development. Only allowed to do the training recommended by the manager. Silos and lack of visibility - managers support silos and the Scrum Master/Technical Program Manager don't have the authority to ask team members to update Rally.
