Customer experience executive
Colleagues and work etiquette are great. No micro management throughout my whole experience.
None so far, all is good.
Digital marketing executive
This is the 1st company I've worked in that truly keeps its staff well-being in mind. The leaders treasure their staff because they have invested a lot in their people. Because this company places a strong emphasis on learning, I am always encouraged to upskill and learn new marketing approaches from both internal research/sharing and through external course providers. It's also great that the leaders here are experienced and more importantly, trust the employees. And with clear directions given, I'm given the trust to exercise my creativity to ideate original marketing angles and test them accordingly to keep learning and forge out the best performing marketing formula to deliver the best results. And because marketing plays a key role in helping the business achieve its objectives, I'm happy to be exposed to many marketing platforms, channels and tools to work on that accelerates my professional growth.
As this company runs on a leaner workforce, you'll find it has a flatter organisational structure. However, many people also find it is a good thing because it minimises "red-tape" for approvals. This is clear here, because work and initiatives get reviewed and approved very quickly (and if not approved, explained why), making working here very efficient, and not hindered by unnecessary delays.
They have some of the best leaders I have been with. A company that believes in "as long as you get sh*t done, and done well... you can "generally" do whatever you want..." No micromanaging. Not strict on attire (no need corporate attire). The culture is good. They recognize employees strengths and play to their strengths while slowly working on their weakness. As long as you have the drive to learn... and show it... and you're honest about it, they will help you. Great colleagues as well. Good humans. Non-toxic. Very nice to be around. Honest communication. No BS. We're all purely there to get the $$$ and have a good time learning how to do so at the highest level. Most people that work in the entire company has stayed for over 10 years. Churn rate is low. I understand why. Honestly, after working here, it's scary to go outside to work anywhere else.
Bit hard to get a clear progression roadmap from them. Direction of company sometimes a bit unclear. Problems aren't that bad at all to be honest. Just small issues.
Content specialist
As a content specialist, creative freedom and expression might be curtailed in some places, but I can assure you that PP is anything but that. My supervisor has always been very supportive and is always there to help refine and deliver new breakthroughs. Further, the team is always open to new ideas and processes, making discussions a lot more meaningful, rather than a top-down hierarchical approach.
During peak periods, you will need to adapt to the tighter working deadlines and cadence of the team so as to deliver on the business objectives
- Understanding colleagues, that can relate to you. Sometimes can give you advise and suggestions. - Colleagues are helpful and works well together as a team. - Good career progression
So far so good !
