Malaysian law: 98 days. Singapore: 16 weeks. UK: 52 weeks. Malaysia has improved but still behind. Private companies sometimes offer more.

98 days is better than before but still well below regional peers. Paternity leave in Malaysia is also extremely short.

Some MNCs offer 4-6 months for female employees. Worth asking about during offer negotiation especially if planning a family.
