Quitting without a job lined up — was it worth it?

Took the leap after 4 months of job searching while employed. Quit, focused full-time on the search. Got 3 offers in 6 weeks. Sometimes removing the safety net is the push you need.

The full-time job search worked for me too. You do better interviews when you are not exhausted from your current role.

Three months emergency fund before quitting is the minimum. Six months is more realistic for a comfortable search.
