Working as a legal counsel in-house vs law firm

by Alicia Wong·December 22, 2025

In-house: 9-6 mostly, better balance, focus on one business. Law firm: high billable targets, many clients, faster learning. Pay at the top end is higher in firms, but mid-level in-house is often better.
