Polite follow-up after 7 days. If no response after 14, move on. Companies that ghost reveal something about their culture.
Send the follow-up on the exact day you said you would. Saying I will follow up Friday and emailing Monday is already a signal.
Phone call follow-up is slightly more effective than email for senior roles. Most candidates only email.
