Job Description
The Production Cell Leader 4 role involves performing moderately complex tasks and leading a process team responsible for the manufacture, assembly, repair, or modification of products. This position requires judgment and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations within a manufacturing environment under general supervision. The role includes leading and problem-solving within the production cell, monitoring team member performance, and ensuring quantity and quality output to meet group goals.
Job Requirements
Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations.
Knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow.
Knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications and SMT processing systems.
Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools.
Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with assembly components and to address those problems.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
Ability to work effectively with team members and lead the team to high quality production within tight deadlines.
Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in the applications appropriate to the area such as Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, and Documentation control systems.
More advanced manufacturing system knowledge.
Four to five years of relevant experience.
High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a commitment towards further/additional education.
