The Commodity Management Specialist is responsible for managing strategic and high-value commodities. This role involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and providing performance reporting to senior management.

In this position, you will engage in day-to-day management of commodities, ensuring effective supplier relationships and cost-effective solutions. You will work closely with senior executives and lead negotiation teams to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage global or regional responsibility for strategic and high-value commodities, including price determination and negotiations.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for managed commodities, focusing on competitive pricing and supplier analysis.
• Act as the primary interface with suppliers for relationship management and contract negotiations.
• Source products and services to maintain continuity of supply while achieving cost efficiency.
• Lead negotiation teams for corporate commodity councils and customer material commitments.
• Provide site direction and performance reporting to senior management.
• Drive process improvements, including the development of IT tools.
