Job Description
The Senior Lead Engineer, Program/Project Management is responsible for planning and directing design engineers and other technical engineers on complex projects. This role involves managing large-scale projects with multiple workstreams and interdependencies, ensuring the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs. The engineer leads cross-functional global teams, manages program schedules and budgets, and communicates status to leadership and customers within the engineering program and project management functional area.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Ability to manage programs consisting of multiple projects with medium complexity and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills to present and convey status to business leaders and customers.
Capable of planning, monitoring, and driving program progress and adherence to objectives related to cost, quality, schedule, and customer needs.
Experience managing program budgets, forecasting, and handling risks and issues.
Proficiency in coordinating multiple projects and resources to align deliverables with program outcomes.
Willingness to perform duties in a normal office environment with occasional travel.
Ability to sustain extended periods of sitting and concentrate on detailed computer work.
